Inspect the DMARC policy published directly at your domain, including its requested handling and reporting destinations.
DMARC uses a TXT record at _dmarc.domain. The tool displays the exact-domain record and does not infer a message authentication result from its presence.
p=none requests monitoring; quarantine and reject request handling of messages that fail DMARC. Receivers can apply their own local policies.
DMARC requires an aligned SPF or DKIM authentication result. A domain’s DNS policy alone cannot tell whether a particular message passes.
A missing exact-domain record is not proof of no applicable DMARC policy. RFC 9989 defines discovery rules; the current checker leaves inherited policy unresolved.
Audit legitimate senders and review reporting first. A restrictive policy can affect mail streams that have not been configured correctly.
External reporting destinations can require DNS authorization. Entering an address does not itself authorize or provision report delivery.
